The studio
We sell about twelve houses a year, and we look at four hundred.
Ruang was founded in 2009 to represent houses that the usual listings could not describe. We take on work when we believe we can be accurate about it, and we turn down more than we accept — usually because the house is fine but the description would have to be dishonest.
Every listing is measured on site. Every photograph is taken in natural light, on the day the light is right, which is occasionally the third visit. Every description is written by the agent who will show you round, so the person on the phone has stood in the room.
